Karen has been in the hospitality industry for more than seven years. She found her calling during her time at the University of California, Riverside where she was the Former President of Cosplay Brigade and Co-Founder of Geek Week and Geek-On. Before becoming the Former Convention Chair and Co-Founder of H-Con 2018, she had staffed at anime conventions such as Anime Expo, Crunchyroll Expo, Anime California, and more. Currently, she is an Event Manager for Marriott and the Convention Chair and COO of TsumiCon. Well-connected, determined, and persistent, Karen strives to create wonderful and personalized experiences at the conventions she helps produce and manage.
