HATSUMAGO
Yamagata
Pours clear, but with a faint silvery cast. The aroma is a surprisingly smooth mix of ripe pineapple, anise, and apple, which blends deftly with the medium-to-full body taste. The explosive flavor got this sake a gold medal in the 2015 BTI World Wine Championships.

TEMAHIMA
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and the same is true for sake. The makers of Temahima truly value their community. They brew with local Yamagata prefecture Yukimegami rice, whose delicate umami comes across in this smooth, elegant junmai daiginjo.

SHIRAKABEGURA
The world’s bestselling sparkling sake, Shirabegura "Mio," has been given new life. “Mio” Crisp is a more refreshing, light-tasting sake that has a less pronounced sweetness than the original. Flavors of melon, lemon and cream are accompanied by an equally creamy texture.

CHOYA
In Japan there is a saying that ume fruit can draw poison from food, water and blood. Better be safe than sorry and drink up Choya “Plum Wine” With Fruit! If anyone asks, you’re poison-proofing yourself. It’s also just plain delicious.

KIKUSUI
This undiluted, unpasteurized sparkling sake is the sparkling version of the legendary Kikusui “Funaguchi,” which was the first commercially available unpasteurized sake, released in 1972.

AMABUKI
Brewed with sunflower yeast to give it a unique flare you can’t find anywhere else. This subtle switch mixes with notes of lychee and melon for a supremely fresh, unpasteurized flavor. Dry, clear and lovely like the summer sky.

NANBU BIJIN
Nanbu Bijin “Plum Sake” infuses only ume plums into their one-of-a-kind “all koji” junmai sake. Sugar is not needed, since plums and koji rice are naturally sweet. This sake is easy to drink, has an attractive rose pour and high acidity, and pairs well with any meal.

DASAI BLUE
Dassai Blue “50” is crafted at the New York-based Dassai Blue Sake Brewery using Yamadanishiki rice, and pristine spring water from the lush Hudson Valley. Flavors of candied pineapple and lemon swirl with notes of vanilla and cantaloupe, like a beautifully assembled fruit tart.

KUROSAWA GINREI
Fukushima
The pale silver hue of this sake is like a soft moon on a crisp night. The flavor follows this imagery too, with a clean, dry mouthfeel and engaging notes of Asian pear, not too strong, but just right. Kurosawa Ginrei took home silver in the 2018 World Sake Challenge, so it’s bound to be special.

WAKATAKE ONIKOROSHI
It is a clear Junmai Daiginjo with a delicate aroma of ripe fruits, velvety texture, and finishes on a sharp, crisp note. Its elegance makes it stand out as a delightful sake.

ICHINOKURA TARU
Miyagi
“Taru sake,” a sake that is rested in barrels to take on the flavor and aroma of the wood. This one has a deep, smoky nuance, and comforts you like it’s time to relax. Whiskey lovers may lean more towards this one.

HARUSHIKA
Nara
This super dry junmai was created to complement the trend of richer foods in Japan. Flavors of dry herbs, mint and sage expand over your palate and leave a pleasant star anise aftertaste.

DAISEKKEI
Nagano
33% of the product weight is from their local Azumino strawberries! This strawberry juice with pulp and seeds is mixed with their junmai sake using Kazesayaka rice to represent their ultimate local fruit sake.

KAMIKOKORO
Okayama
Taking a sip of this is like taking a bite into the juicy, sweet nectar of a white peach called Shimizu Hakuto, the queen of peaches. They use peach yeast for this carefully crafted sake to express the fruit’s elegant white flesh and natural sweetness.

HAKUTSURU
Hyogo
An aromatic concoction of melon, grape, and sweet rice. Each sip is balanced with a rounded-out dry finish. The meticulous care used during brewing is reflected in the light complexity of the brew.
